President Barack Obama Pens Final Letter to American People

President Obama has written his final letter to the American people – as today is his last day in office before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in.

It’s a long-standing tradition for the sitting president of the United States to leave a parting letter in the Oval Office for the American elected to take his or her place. It’s a letter meant to share what we know, what we’ve learned, and what small wisdom may help our successor bear the great responsibility that comes with the highest office in our land, and the leadership of the free world,” President Obama wrote. “But before I leave my note for our 45th president, I wanted to say one final thank you for the honor of serving as your 44th. Because all that I’ve learned in my time in office, I’ve learned from you. You made me a better President, and you made me a better man.

I’ve seen you, the American people, in all your decency, determination, good humor, and kindness. And in your daily acts of citizenship, I’ve seen our future unfolding,” he continued. “All of us, regardless of party, should throw ourselves into that work — the joyous work of citizenship. Not just when there’s an election, not just when our own narrow interest is at stake, but over the full span of a lifetime.

And when the arc of progress seems slow, remember: America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We the People.’ ‘We shall overcome,’” the President added.

I’ll End My Career In China – John Obi Mikel

Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has hinted that Tianjin Teda will be his final bus stop in football, if all things go on well with him in China.

Mikel signed a three-year deal with the Chinese Super League club currently training in Malaga, Spain after being frozen out at Chelsea, where he spent close to eleven years winning titles.

Of course, I want to stay in a team for a long time, I left Chelsea after eleven years, I hope to stay in TEDA for a long time, not one or two seasons, “ Mikel was quoted as saying by Netease Sports.

If the club will not let me go, I hope to stay until the end of my career, TEDA will be my last stop.”

Mikel scored his first goal for his new club in their 6-2 loss to German side St. Pauli yesterday.

His goal came off a header from a well delivered free kick, which left the goalkepper of St. Pauli stranded in goal as the ball flew into the net.

Lady Gaga is Back in the Studio, Might Announce Tour Dates After Super Bowl Halftime Show

Lady Gaga is officially back in the studio – but fans are speculating as to exactly why!

The 30-year-old singer hit the studio last night (January 13) with Brian Kennedy, who’s worked with Rihanna and Chris Brown, as well as Dallas Davidson, who collaborates with country star Luke Bryan.

“First session of the year with @ladygaga & @dallasdavidson_ two incredible people! #inspired #readytoworkagain #newsound,”Brian wrote on Instagram along with the black-and-white photo below.

It’s been less than three months since the release of Gaga‘s latest album Joanne – so she could working on new music already, OR she might be recording some material for A Star Is Born, the Bradley Cooper-directed film she is starring in. We’ll have to wait and see!

In more Gaga news, the singer might be announcing upcoming tour dates after her 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

Donald Trump Allegedly Ordered ‘Golden Showers’ in Russia, Twitter Reacts

New reports have surfaced claiming that Russia has compromising intel on Donald Trump and some unverified allegations have been made about the President-elect.

The dossier with the explosive allegations has reportedly been floating around for weeks and BuzzFeed just published the full document.

The one part of the document that is buzzing on social media is a claim that Trump ordered sex workers to perform a “golden showers” show while in Russia.

Trump‘s (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Mrs. Obama (who he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) show in front of him,” the report read.

“The hotel was known to be under FSB control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the main rooms to record anything they wanted to.”

Read what celebs like Kathy GriffinPatton Oswalt, andTyler Oakley, along with other Twitter users, are saying about the claims.

Kim Kardashian Breaks Silence on Paris Robbery, Recalls Thinking ”They’re Going to Shoot Me in the Back”

Kim Kardashian is breaking her silence on her horrific Paris robbery.

In an exclusive promo from the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which returns to E! in March, the 36-year-old mogul opens up to sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian about the scary experience.
They’re going to shoot me in the back,” she says in tears, recalling the incident. “There’s no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.”
In October, Kim was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint inside her hotel room by masked men who then stole all her jewelry and escaped.
Kim’s emotional reaction to the news of husband Kanye West’s hospitalization in November is also captured in the teaser. The rapper was admitted to UCLA Medical Center in November for sleep deprivation and exhaustion after canceling his Saint Pablo tour.
“Don’t scare me, please. What’s going on?” Kim says, crying over the phone. She later explains, “I think he really needs me, and I have to get home.”
But despite all the ups and downs, this family is proving once again they’re always stronger together, even in times of crisis.
We’re so close,” Kim explains. “We feel each other’s pain.”
