Shameful, Irresponsibile That DSS Is Now Leaking Nigerians Phone Conversations To Sahara Reporters – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has accused the Department of State Service (DSS) of recording telephone conversations of Nigerians perceived as critical of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC) government, editing the conversations and leaking same to Sahara Reporters, which has now become the official propaganda platform of the federal government.
Governor Fayose, who said he was not bothered by the new sinister antic of the federal government, added that; “Rather than sitting down and be monitoring peoples phones, the federal government should provide food for Nigerians and save the lives of those that are being killed in Southern Kaduna and other places.”
The governor, who reacted to his telephone conversation with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike that was published by Sahara Reporters today, through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said; “If the President and his hatchet men in the DSS, EFCC and other federal government agencies do not know what to do other than to record phone conversations of their perceived  political foes, they should just resign and save the country from this harrowing experience.”
He said it was obviously that they were being threatened by the complimentary comments of notable Nigerians like Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and others about him because those comments negate the cabal’s evil intentions.
The governor described the DSS recording telephone conversations of Nigerians and leaking them to Sahara Reporters to publish as the height of the political rascality, manipulation, oppression, suppression and irresponsibility by agents of the federal government that are trying so hard to cover up the crimes they perpetrated against the people of Rivers State.
They should even go beyond taping of my lines and come to live with me in Ekiti government house so that they can do per seconds live recordings of whatever I say because in the year 2017, by the grace of God, I will still say more without apology,” he said.
Governor Fayose said for the first time since democracy returned to the country in 1999, Nigerians were celebrating Christmas and new year with hunger and sufferings beyond measure.
Nigerians are asking for food on their tables, they want employments, they want security, not recording of people’s phone conversations and handing it to a road side online platform to publish.

“Unemployment and job loss are increasing at a very alarming rate while the electoral process is daily being bastardised.

“Rather than tackling hunger and the country’s economic woes, they have embarked on diversionary tactics with irrelevant stories of Governors Wike and Fayose’s phone conversations, governors who do not bear arms and have no control over any security apparatus,” the governor said.
He said:  “I knew it before now that telephone conversations of prominent Nigerians, especially National Assembly members and opposition figures are being monitored, but I have remained unperturbed in my resolve to play my roles in rescuing Nigeria from the jaws of tyranny, which the present APC federal government represents.”
While maintaining that the APC led federal government do not respect the laws of the country, Governor Fayose said; “They know that what they are doing is illegal and clear contravention of Section 37 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which provides that; ‘The privacy of citizens, their homes, correspondence, telephone conversations and telegraphic communications is hereby guaranteed and protected.’

“However, because they are criminally minded and are running a tyrannical government, using the DSS, EFCC and other agencies, one is not surprised at the current development.
He encourage Nigerians not to  keep silent in the face of this tyranny, saying; “it will get to everybody one day, some day.”
He said; “Like I said before, their style has become so predictable. Whenever Nigerians cry of the pains and sufferings they are going through, they will come with flimsy stories like; “20 Chibok girls found,” “$1 billion found in Mr A, B or C bedroom,” “Boko Haram technically defeated,” “We have captured Sambisa forest,” “Governors Wike and Fayose’s phone conversations leaked,” etc just to divert attention.

“Regrettably, Governors Wike and Fayose that bear no arm remain their headache while their agents that bear arms like guns, armoured tanks and fighter jets etc, using them against Nigerians have not been called to question.
“Going by the barrage of pains being inflicted on Nigerians by his cluelessness, if I will give the President a candid advise, I will tell him to resign because he has failed Nigerians, whose votes he obtained by deception. Under his watch, Dollar is now N500 to $1, their is unprecedented hunger in the land, Nigerians are being killed in Southern Kaduna and other places, “It is better for the President to resign because he appears not to have capacity for positivity.
“If all the presidents that ruled before Buhari had behaved like he is behaving now, he himself will be in jail.
“However, let me say it once again, I am one person who is not afraid of death or incarceration. I will keep telling Nigerians the truth, which obviously hurts Buhari and the cabal around him.

Saraki Denies Defecting To PDP

For the second time in less than a week, the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, has restated his commitment and loyalty to his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Media reports were rife that Saraki had defected to the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after he attended the party’s senate caucus meeting on Wednesday.

But Saraki’s media aide, Bamikole Omishore, in a statement said the reports were “entirely untrue as the Senate President stands committed to the APC; a party that he helped midwife and worked for its victory in the 2015 elections.”

He said Saraki’s presence at the PDP caucus meeting was in his official capacity as the Senate President and chairman, National Assembly.

He attended the end of session event of the PDP caucus yesterday evening and spent only 30 minutes before leaving the members to continue with the event.

“The Senate President would like to assure every Nigerian that he is committed to the APC-led government and appreciates the confidence reposed in him and the APC during the 2015 General Elections.”

Omishore, on Monday, July 18, had defended his boss’s loyalty to APC, noting that the Senate President was committed to championing the ideals of the party.

Melaye To Tinubu: You Are Not God, You Can’t Determine My Future

The man at the centre of the storm, Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has told the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stop playing God as he can never determine his political future.

In a direct reaction to Tinubu’s riposte that his political career has come to an end following his alleged insulting language on Oluremi, Tinubu’s wife during Tuesday’s Executive session of the senate, Melaye, who addressed a press conference on the issue said: “I want to say that Tinubu is not God. I fear only the God almighty, I fear no soul, I only respect souls.

“So far my political journey to the House of Representatives and the Senate have no political, financial or moral contribution of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the God who has brought me this far is mighty, strong and enough to take me further, what God has given me, no man can give and what God has given to me no man can take”.

He described as fallacious, malicious and a lie that I said “I will impregnate Mrs. Tinubu. Biologically it is even impossible to impregnate Mrs. Tinubu because she has arrived menopause”.

He refuted media reports alleging that he insulted Senator Oluremi during the executive session saying the allegation which was orchestrated by Senator Oluremi and sold to an online Medium was baseless and premised on complete falsehood.

Giving a narrative of what transpired, he said: “I want to say that I will continue to uphold the culture, the tradition, the values of the Kogi West Senatorial district and I will not abuse it. But it is absurd for a woman to look at her colleague and call him a thug and a dog when he has not personally addressed you. Unfortunately, I did not have the anointing to be quiet when being insulted, I replied accordingly. I repeat there is no reaction without an action. If she did not call me a dog or a thug there is no way I would have responded. I responded I have no regrets for responding and defending my person and if tomorrow or in the next one hour, Senator Tinubu again called me any name, I shall equally respond accordingly”.

According to him, “ When I stood up and I made my submissions that day in the senate, all I did was to pacify my colleagues and asked that the case in court be withdrawn because already there is a resolution of the senate that the rules of the senate were not forged and since there was a resolution of the senate that the rules of the senate were not forged then I said all those who have gone to court should go and withdraw their names from court and that if at the end of the day those who refused to withdraw their names from court we should penalise them by suspending them, I said that.

“I did not mention the name of any senator while I was making my presentation, unfortunately Senator Oluremi Tinubu got up and was recognised to speak and immediately she started speaking she specifically mentioned my name even when in my presentation I did not mention anybody names.

“But because of reasons only known to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, she got up the first thing she said was that she’s being harrassed in this chamber by Senator Melaye. I kept quiet at that point, she went ahead to say that why will he come here and be threatening senators she said that this thug must be tamed.

“At that point, I got up and I told her that she is very stupid. The next statement from her is that you are a dog. She called me a dog and when she called me a dog I stood up and I reacted and I told her that this is not Bourdillon and that she should look at my face, I am not one of those senators who normally come to prostrate to them in Bourdillon.

And I told her I am from Kogi State, I am not from Lagos State and that there would never be a day that I will come to you for political assistance. This were my words and she went on shouting dog, thug”, he added.

On the issue of impeaching President Muhammadu Buhari, he said: “nobody amongst those of us who spoke there actually talked about impeachment.

Infact the issue of the presidency or president was not the subject matter we were discussing but on how the senate can also come together and solve the forgery case. There wouldn’t have being any need to even discuss about Buhari or the Presidency but because of deliberate wickedness and satanic manifestations they brought in the issue of presidency to garnish their aim and purpose”. On calls that he should apologise, he said: “if there are instances where as a human being I have reacted negatively, I am also ready to be apologetic about it. But in this particular instance, I have never mentioned anybody’s name, I never even used insolent languages but because they are yet to heal from the wound of defeat of the election of the senate president and because of my key role in this exercise where she and her husband called me severally to appeal to me to backoff Saraki and I say I will not backoff Saraki, I will continue to support Saraki, Saraki is my brother, he is my friend and I will continue to support him and this will not change today, it will not change tomorrow, it will not change in this four years of our stay in the Senate”, he stressed.
